UNDERSTANDING... who grows our food, how they grown our food, and why that is importance.
Our educational programs help West Benders of all ages understand that what they eat, cook, and throw away impacts the future of our community and our planet.

The West Bend Farmers Market is a nonprofit that depends on the support of folks like you to run our educational programs, teaching children and adults of all ages the impact food has on our community and our planet, from the kitchen to the compost bin. We are always looking for educators to share their talents. Educational Booths are free with an approved contract
The power for Produce (pop): West Bend Farmers Market kids programming, The Power of Produce (POP) Club is farmers market-based children program, that seeks to teach children about fruits and vegetables, local food systems, and healthy food preparation through fun activities. The POP Club makes your family’s trip to the farmers' market more than a grocery run. We treat every market as an opportunity to teach kids about food, farming, and sustainability and encourage them to try food grown by our farmers. At every market, we offer kids an opportunity to participate in activities like produce-inspired arts and crafts to scavenger hunts and hands-on recipes.
